Pattar Cedar Products operates from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. The location is chosen to be in close proximity to wind-protected cedar stock – which makes Pattar shakes lay flatter and resist cupping and curling. Our mill manufactures only the highest quality cedar shakes and shingles. To begin the process, raw logs are taken and converted into blocks for splitting. Then, the pre-manufactured blocks are taken and hand-split to make cedar shakes.
