Material-Pattar-Guard
is manufactured from Premium and Number 1 Grade Pattar-Split or Pattar-Sawn
cedar shakes or Number 1 Grade Certigrade cedar shingles.
Fire
Retardant and Preservative Treated Shakes-Pattar cedar shakes are treated
with FTX¬ fire retardant to provide permanent fire protection for your roof.
We apply FTX fire treatment at the plant using a special vacuum-pressure impregnation
process that won't wash out or leach away. And Pattar shakes treated with FTX
have passed the Underwriter Laboratory 790 weathering test.
This
gives our shakes the highest rating as a fire retardant. You'll also feel extra
secure knowing these treated shakes carry the FTX Limited Lifetime Warranty,
guaranteeing that your FTX treated shakes will permanently retard fire for the
lifetime of the roof.
